Meet The Team

We are a team of Jesus-loving wedding planners, and we cannot wait to meet you! The most important thing to our team is that you feel valued, loved, and heard all through your planning process. When you inquire with Treasured Heart Events, the planner that you first meet with will be there with you every step of the way.

She will be your planner at every meeting, answer every question, call every vendor leading up to your big day, conduct your rehearsal, and be the first one in the venue doors on wedding day and the last one out. Her only event that entire week will be YOURS, so you can rest easy knowing that your planner is there for YOU!

Hi there you beautiful bride! My name is Ashlee, and if you can’t tell yet, I cannot wait to meet you! I am the Owner, Creative Director + Lead Planner here at Treasured Heart Events. I found my passion in the wedding world during my early college years, and after The Lord breathed life into this company in January 2016, I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Wedding planning is truly my passion, and I hope you feel that in every interaction you have with myself or any of our team members.

My heart is truly to serve our couples with intention and grace. While planning beautiful and seamless events is at the top of my priority list, having our brides and grooms feel cared for and heard throughout the planning process is of the utmost importance to me. A beautiful MARRIAGE long after the wedding day is over is truly the goal here!

Aside from weddings, a few of my favorite things include exploring Fort Worth with my husband Brett, snuggling our sweet baby girl Faye, walking our two sweet rescue pups, and trying my hand at anything creative. I am humbled at the opportunity + ability to serve others in such a precious time in their lives, and of course, I will always welcome a slice of cake on wedding weekends!!

Morgan Pfursich

Lead Planner |

Hey there! My name is Morgan, and I have been with the team since March 2019! I first discovered my love for weddings after helping a family friend coordinate all the intricacies of their wedding. I love being able to help couples on their special day so they can relax and enjoy the beauty of all the small moments on their wedding day.

One of my favorite moments in a wedding is the exchanging of vows. It is so beautiful to watch two people commit their lives to each other in front of God, their family and friends and to celebrate that commitment. You will also see me get all teary-eyed during every single father-daughter dance!

Outside of weddings, I spend most of my time with my dog. Whether it’s walking around Fort Worth trails, or enjoying some Mexican food on a beautiful patio, my dog, Gunner, tends to be by my side! I can’t wait to meet you and discuss your very special day!

Addi Mendoza

Lead Planner |

Hey Pretties! Addi here, lover of cats, carbs, and Jesus. If you're here looking for a wedding planner, look no further- we've got you covered! We are here to serve you, love you, and pray for you from the moment we meet you. As an enneagram 7, I thrive on building a fun wedding atmosphere that allows you to be the best host to your loved ones on your big day. My favorite thing is to learn about what makes you "you", and to incorporate those details into your wedding!

I originally started with Ashlee at Treasured Heart Events when she first opened shop in 2016. We were roommates at TCU, and I became the very first TH Intern during my senior year. After graduating, I took my first "big girl" job, which moved me to Dallas. Fast forward to 2019, I was praying for a way back into the wedding world when I called up Ash again and said, "Need any help?"  :)

So here I am back in the saddle as a full-time planner for Treasured Heart Events! I am ready to make your big day the best, most fun, amazing, beautiful and special day ever!

Kendall Loft

Lead Planner |

Hey there gorgeous! My name is Kendall and I can’t wait to meet you! I’m a newlywed myself and a dog-mom to my Labradoodle Paisley and my Retriever Maverick. I’ve been planning weddings for family friends since 2017 before joining the Treasured Heart Team in 2019, and I can’t wait to love and serve more Texas Brides.

My favorite planning aspect is the ability to sit down with my bride over a cup of coffee and some color palettes, room layouts, Pinterest board pictures, and fabric samples to design an event that celebrates your love story through unique and personalized details, and then seeing those elements come together after each meeting.  Our planning and design packages afford our brides the opportunity to truly get to know their planner and develop a relationship that’s more than just a vendor, so you feel heard, supported, celebrated and cherished every step of the way.

My favorite moment of any wedding day is the moment right before the bride walks down the aisle.  There is something special about fixing her veil one last time as the music to her processional starts and her groom waits in eager anticipation to meet his beloved. When I'm not deep in the wedding world, I’m cooking a Home Chef meal with my hubby, watching an episode of Friends (I’m totally Monica), or taking my pups to our local Chick-fil-A for an ice cream.

Gracie Yates

Lead Planner |

Hey! My name is Gracie, and I would be honored to serve you! I coordinated my first wedding for a friend in July 2019 and have been hooked ever since, officially joining the Treasured Heart team in the summer of 2020. I married my high school sweetheart in December 2019, and it has been an unpredictable journey. Yet Christ has never not been faithful to us. Some favorites of mine include quality time with people, handwritten notes--both given and received, and Saturday morning brunch (or any day and time, who am I kidding?!)

I'm an Enneagram 1w2 who has an eye for the details and cares deeply about the purpose behind your marriage covenant. My favorite part about the planning process is getting to build relationships and serving you from our first meeting to your grand exit. I take joy in finding solutions to those unexpected things on wedding day, allowing for you and your family to be present on your best day ever!

Outside of weddings, you can probably find me watching Survivor, taking a walk outside, or searching for cute Airbnbs. I cannot wait to meet you and share in some of your life's most treasured moments!

Emily Boren

Lead Planner |

Hi there! I'm Emily, a born and raised Texan who loves keeping busy! I have been planning/assisting on weddings since 2018 and joined Treasured Heart Events in 2021. What started as just a creative outlet from my full-time advertising job has become a huge passion. There is no better feeling than seeing the pure joy that radiates from couples and their friends and family on wedding days.

As an enneagram 1, I thrive on organization and attention to detail. Weddings are a balance of creativity, style, personality and timelines, numbers, and logistics, and I love being able to help tie all of those things together to make your dream day go smoothly so you can focus on what's important.

In my free time you can find me on the couch with my husband and our dog Daisy (we love a good TV show), reading, or eating Mexcian food because chips and queso are my love language.

Haley Edwards

Team Assistant

Hey y’all! My name is Haley Edwards and I’m the team assistant for Treasured Heart. I am currently a student at Dallas Baptist University. My love for weddings began when I was just six years old and I was the flower girl at a family friends wedding. Since then I have loved all things wedding! My favorite part of wedding days is getting to see all of the personal details that the couple implemented into their special day, and of course eating cake!

In my free time I love having movie nights in my apartment at DBU with my roommates, driving home to Fort Worth to spend time with my family, or getting to play around with new flowers and arrangements.
